A very quick HDR of a cell phone shot WRX.

Been surfing the external HD the past few days scouting for some old photos that could use a well deserved spot in the limelight…this is one from about 4 years ago taken at Penn State. I can’t believe I just let it grow dusty and old when there was so much potential. So after saving this photo from impending doom it is time to dive deeper into the files of ol’ and see just what diamond in the ruff lies buried!

So my coffee mug from photojojo.com arrived today, and I couldn’t be more in DSLR heaven :) To bad it didn’t come this morning but come tomorrow it will be put to good use!

HP…Tired of Being Average?

HP Probook

It seems as if HP has finally woken up and turned off the boring.  Following the success of the Envy line, HP has redesigned their business laptops.  What came of this redesign is 13.3, 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch display sizes and Intel’s latest Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.  It seems as if HP has also realized their Envy line laptop prices lacked well…envy.  The $900 15.6-inch ProBook 4520s with a Core i5 CPU and a 500GB 7,200RPM drive sounds more like a deal I wouldn’t mind reaching for my back pocket.  Expected to start configuring one of these bad boys in a few weeks.  With a fresh face lift and plenty of grunt, workaholics should be quite pleased with HP.

UPDATE:

Also the new Probook line is fitted with HP’s new Day Starter software that lets you check a configured Outlook calender while the laptop boots up in the background.  Nice feature if you just can’t wait to get your day underway!

An interesting take on an old rivalry!
